Gather a team together and come and support this wonderful cause.
The inaugural Men’s Veterans Open Day was held on Thursday 26th September and 64 keen players hit off hoping for a full 18 holes. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind and the event had to be reduced to 9 wet holes. Nevertheless, those who finished posted some reasonable scores with the following players rising to the top.
A Grade - winner Jason Coombes (19pts), R/U Craig Littlechild (18pts)
B Grade - winner Neil Cox (19pts), R/U Garry Willadsen (18pts on a c/b)
C Grade - winner Peter Billinghurst (21pts), R/U Joe Farrugia (20pts on a c/b)
NTPs were Jeff Graham, Neville Mitchell and Steven Davidson
Long drivers were Mick Welsh, Geoff Masters and John Forrest
Thanks to our very generous sponsors (Food Savers Australia, Smiths Lakes Butchery, DMC Plumbing, Mid Coast Maritime Services, Panasales, Berrick Investments and Rod Norberry Electrician) and to all the organisers, cooks and helpers - hopefully this will become a popular annual event.

MEN`S VETERANS OPEN DAY TOMORROW
The final round of the Ladies` Championship was played on Wednesday 18th September and the 2024 Club Champion is Lou Smith with 267gr. Terry Stellema is the 2024 B Grade Champion with 294gr. Barbie Gordon won the overall nett with 211. Congratulations ladies.

Mixed Foursomes Championships -Sunday 15th Sep was not kind weather wise, and seven brave pairs contested the Mixed Foursomes Championship on a very cold, wet, windy, wintry day. Two pairs came in with 134 gross after 27 holes, and so the players had to "suit up" again and play 3 more holes. The 2024 Champions are Barbie Gordon and Geoff Harvey by 1 stroke in the play-off from Lou Smith and Arrin Gardiner. Nett winners were Terry Stellema and Marty Bramble with 117.5nett. Congratulations to all the winners and to the rest of the players who stayed till the end!

The annual Judy Newman Memorial Day was held on Sunday August 25 and while the weather was not so kind, the cold and damp didn`t deter the 23 teams. The winning team was J Coombs, Barbie Gordon and Al Jobson with 58nett. R/up were J.Sims and M.Turvey with 60.5nett. Thanks to Brad Newman for organising the day and to all the members and visitors who played and worked behind the scenes. In excess of $2,200 was raised for the Bulahdelah Volunteer Fire Brigade.
